Berwick joining Washington think tank

ModernHealthcare.com  By Jessica Zigmond  Posted: March 23, 2012 – 3:00 pm ET     Former CMS Administrator Dr. Donald Berwick will continue his work in public policy as a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, the organization announced.
According to a news release about his appointment, Berwick will concentrate primarily on the same issues he promoted in the nearly year-and-a-half he spent as the leader of the CMS: the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and new ways to provide better healthcare at lower costs.  Read more
