Should Patient Know their Risks?

There are two days of hearings this week – two days to consider whether or not chiropractors should inform their patients of the risk of stroke following cervical manipulation.  I sit on the chiropractice examining board and some of my holiday has been spent reading an amazing amount of testimony – for informed consent and against.  CT-N will be broadcasting the event.  You cannot imagine the amount of controversy this issue has stirred up.  Feelings are running high.
